CRITIQUE REVIEW

For I Am Dead

Patricia Delso Lucas

The weight of the feeling of unhappiness and loneliness that it gives to the individual when identity pressure is faced with social struggle. This shadow draws the individual towards a thin and dangerous line between life and death.

In this tragic project; self-confession, rejection, and dilemma contradictions are emphasized together. The director reflected and deepened the chasm and disappointment that social pressure can drag the individual into on stage.

Director emphasized that pomp and prestige cannot buy happiness and love, and combined this with social exclusion, abandonment, and rejection. The individual must first know himself and allow himself.

A surreal drama the director’s choice. A tragic story about the limits of the mind, self-admission, and acceptance.
